Memorial Day Parade

The tribe walked the annual Green Memorial Day Parade again this year. I think 1/2 of the city of Green is in the parade and the rest come to watch. The kids have a blast - just being in a parade and able to throw candy out is a huge hit among the little braves.

The web site is up to date - here is the link to the May Smoke:

Also Jeff P and Charles sent me more pics from the campout - so I added them to the spring campout slide show. If anybody else has more pics they want me to post - just use the free system from Google called Picasa and send them to me.

Next event:

Friday June 12th - Trumpet in the land

If you don't know about trumpet in the land, then here is their web site is:
http:// www.trumpetintheland.com

TRUMPET, in its 40th year, is an unforgettable production that will sweep you back in history to a time when Ohio was the western frontier of America, to witness the founding of Ohio’s first settlement, Schoenbrunn, in 1772.

Many of us have seem the play as kids with our parents, and it is one of the lasting memories from our childhood. You will not be disappointed. For this event we just need you to tell your cheif headcount - tickets will be at the door (tell them you are with indianguides / manakiki nation for the discounted rate)

Show starts at 8:30 Friday night, and is in New Philledephia which is ~45min drive

(note: Blogger is not letting me insert links today - so you will have to cut past the web address to go to the sites)

Be sure to vote in this months question. We want to know your feedback for next year's spring campout.

Cheers,

-Big Dog
